Bull, keep in mind that our Governor also leased a major toll road and has been using that money to subsidize infrastructure.

You can't fix stupid... I mean Liberals
Bull - September 8, 2012, 9:52 pm
That's funny because my state has been doing tons of repair to roads and other infrastructure. Perhaps what you really need is better governors, city councils, mayors, and district representatives in other states. FYI, my state's governor is a Republican.

That's explains you X-D

Not sure if it was wise to go there, seeing as 100% of Obama's Shovel Ready Jobs went to China and the 20 billion that he promised was supposed to go to infrastructure and roads ended up going overseas to nations that supported him.

Pretty sure this is a repost PF. Still agree with it this time around too though. Makes no sense to fight over a (probably) finite resource when we have significant access to tons of renewable energy sources.

Unfortunately they dfid not include those that believed in both natural and man made causes in the 49% number they reach. The number with both is 59%.
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:48 pm
But they did ask the cause later.
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:42 pm
Given that loose standard of the question, I'm surprised that because no cause way listed that the response did not get more agreement.
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:41 pm
I notice the question to the public is "Global warming refers to the idea that the world’s average temperature has been increasing over the past 150 years, may be increasing more in the future, and that the world’s climate may change as a result."
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:36 pm
And believe that most scientist (not climate scientists) believe in GEW is at 42%
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:33 pm
Leiserowitz et al. 2013 on which the public chart is based also says that 49% of the population believe that GW is rel and human caused.
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:24 pm
The public side list climate scientist in one part and scientists in another. Climate scientist have a high certainty than scientists in general do.
calron - April 5, 2015, 1:18 pm
"Further, in May 2011, we found that only 15% of Americans correctly understand that over 80% of climate scientists think global warming is human caused." Funny how the 97% chart disagrees with the 81-100% range listed in the actual study.
